Collection Protocol
Sample should be aseptically collected. Do not add formalin, saline, or broth to fresh tissue.
Detection of Salmonella spp. by culture. Positive cultures will be sent to OSPHL for speciation at no additional cost to client. Required testing for public health purposes following a positive PCR result.
