Shipping Requirements
Label all samples. Ship overnight or 2 day. Rigid slide container. Cardboard slide mailers are not recommended.
Specimen Requirements
Spread cells into a mono layer on the slide(s). Do not heat fix. Label each slide according to site. For best results, submit more than 1 slide from each site and submit at least 1 slide unstained
Collection Protocol
Do not expose to moisture or formalin.
Cytologic evaluation of aspirates and/or impression smears and microscopic evaluation by a clinical pathologist. This test is for additional resubmitted slides only, please provide accession number from the original case.
