Detection of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV), swine deltacoronavirus (SDCV), transmissible gastroenteritis coronavirus (TGEV), porcine rotavirus-A (PRV-A), Lawsonia intracellularis by real time PCR, and Salmonella sp. culture. Test is available as STAT if requested, for an additional fee. Salmonella culture subject to 7 business day turnaround time. For PCRs, same day results provided for STAT specimens submitted before 10:00 a.m. Results for STAT specimens submitted after 10:00 a.m.

Detection of porcine circovirus type 2 by real time PCR. Test is available as STAT if requested, for an additional fee. Same day results provided for STAT specimens submitted before 10:00 a.m. Results for STAT specimens submitted after 10:00 a.m. receive priority status and are reported as soon as they are available, at least by the following business day. Test also available as part of the Porcine Respiratory PCR Panel.

Automated count of platelets. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Measurement of phosphorous in ocular fluid, serum, or urine by automated analyzer. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Microscopic WBC estimate, differential, cellular morphology, and hemoparasite exam performed by a clinical pathologist with interpretation. Provide brief clinical description or history, including automated CBC data.

Measurement of PTT by automated analyzer. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Detection of IgG levels by quantitative radial immunodiffusion. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until the next scheduled testing day.

Measurement of non-esterified fatty acids (NEFA) by automated analyzer. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Detection of antibodies to Neospora caninum in bovine serum by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until next scheduled testing day. With the addition of a STAT Fee, alternate testing times are possible to expedite turnaround times. Please call us at 541-737-2172 if testing a large number of animals. While advance notice is preferable, it is not required.

Detection of Neorickettsia risticii, the causative agent of Potomac Horse Fever (PHF), by real time PCR. Test is available as STAT if requested, for an additional fee. Same day results provided for STAT specimens submitted before 10:00 a.m. Results for STAT specimens submitted after 10:00 a.m. receive priority status and are reported as soon as they are available, at least by the following business day. Test also available as part of the Equine Enteric PCR Panel.
