Detection of West Nile virus (WNV), St. Louis Encephalitis virus (SLEV) & western equine encephalitis virus (WEEV) by multiplex real time PCR. Mosquitoes are tested in pools of 5. Individuals within each pool are tested if any of the viruses are detected in the pooled sample. An additional fee applies. Test is performed for public health surveillance only. Detection and identification of microfiliaria by manual microscopy.

Culture for pathogenic aerobic bacteria and mycoplasma in animals experiencing mastitis. Not for food safety testing. Indicate if individual teat samples are to be pooled for culture, otherwise samples will be cultured and charged individually Panel Includes: Aerobic Culture, Mycoplasma Culture

Measurement of magnesium by automated analyzer. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Detection of lungworm larvae by the Baermann method.

Culture of brain tissues for recovery and identification of pathogenic listeria. Milk, food (human and animal) will be rejected for this testing.
