Crossmatch (LA)

Detection of hemagglutinating and hemolyzing antibodies in serum via microscopic and macroscopic evaluation, respectively. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Creatinine

Measurement of creatinine by automated analyzer. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis/ Caseous Lymphadenitis(CL)/ Pigeon Fever- Rule Out Only

Culture and identification to rule-out prescence of Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, causitive agent of pigeon fever, caseous lymphadenitis Other pathogens recovered will not be reported. If organisms other than C. pseudotuberculosis are of interest, or if sensitivity is desired order Aerobic culture. Will be reported as Recovered for a positive culture, or Not Recovered for a negative culture.

Cortisol (ChL)

Measurement of cortisol by chemiluminescence.

Coombs Direct

Detection of IgG, IgM or C3 on erythrocytes via direct antiglobulin test. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Complete Urinalysis

Gross description, specific gravity, biochemical analysis with confirmatory testing for protein and bilirubin, and microscopic analysis of urine sample to complete a full urinalysis. Test available as STAT with additional Fee.

Coccidioides IgM-IgG Panel

Detection of both IgM and IgG serum antibodies to Coccidioides immitis "TP" and "F" antigens, the causative agents of Coccidioidomycosis, by agar gel immunodiffusion. The presence of IgM anitbodies directed against the "TP" antigen indicate recent, active infection. These are primarily IgM antibodies which appear within several days of infection. The IgM antibody AGID test is usually positive within 1 week after infection and reverts to negative within a few months.

Coccidioides IgM AGID Screen

Detection of Coccidioides IgM serum antibodies against the TP antigen by agar get immunodiffusion. The presence of IgM anitbodies directed against the TP antigen indicate recent, active infection. These are primarily IgM antibodies which appear within several days of infection. The IgM antibody AGID test is usually positive within 1 week after infection and reverts to negative within a few months. Test performed Monday-Wednesday.

Coccidioides (Valley Fever, AGID) IgG Antibody Titration Agar Gel Immunodiffusion

Detection and titration of Coccidioides IgG serum antibodies against the F" antigen by agar gel immunodiffusion. The presence of IgG antibodies directed against the "F" antigen indicate active or recent past (up to 1 year) infection. The IgG antibody AGID test is usually positive within four weeks after infection and remains positive throughout clinically active disease. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until next scheduled testing day. Please call us at 541-737-2172 if testing a large number of animals.

Coccidioides (Valley Fever, AGID) IgG Agar Gel Immunodiffusion Screen

Detection of Coccidioides IgG serum antibodies against the F antigen by agar gel immunodiffusion. The presence of IgG antibodies directed against the F antigen indicate active or recent past (up to 1 year) infection.
