Dr. Kamm’s laboratory focuses on the treatment of equine diseases with translational therapies to human medicine. Dr. Kamm performs both clinical and experimental research using biologics including mesenchymal stromal cells. Current projects include identifying a donor cell line that can be used in recipient horses to maximize the therapeutic effects in the treatment of musculoskeletal disease and the use of polymers to prolong retention of MSCs in the joint.
