Feline Panleukopenia (FPLV DFA) Direct Fluorescent Antibody

Detection of Feline Panleukopenia (FPLV) in fresh tissue by fluorescent antibody method. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until next scheduled testing day.

Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV IFA) Indirect Fluorescent Antibody

Detection of Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) in fresh tissue by fluorescent antibody method. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until next scheduled testing day.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP IFA, FIPV, Feline Coronavirus) Indirect Fluorescent Antibody

Detection of antibodies to feline coronavirus (FCoV), the causative agent of feline infectious peritonitis (FIP), by indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) method. Results available same day for samples received in the lab by 11:30 am. Results can be available same day with the addition of a STAT Fee for samples received in the lab after 11:30 and by 1:00 pm. Otherwise the samples will be held until the next scheduled testing day.

Feline Herpesvirus (FHV-1 DFA) Direct Fluorescent Antibody

Detection of Feline Herpesvirus (FHV-1) in fresh tissue by fluorescent antibody method. Samples must be received in the lab by 5 pm the day prior to testing, otherwise samples will be held until next scheduled testing day.

Fecal Wet Mount

Direct examination of feces for larvae, ova, oocyts, flagellates, yeast, etc. Not reliable for flukes, cryptosporidia, giardia, or microfilaria.
