Raja was my son's dog for a number of years, but as he became busier, Raja was staying at our house more and more until my son finally said "he's all your's." We were delighted to take over the care of Raja. He was a loving soul and nothing bothered him. I could vacuum all around him and he wouldn't get up. Firecrackers could land next to him and he wouldn't budge. He was so laid back, I thought something was wrong with him. But, as it turns out, he was just a laid back lab. He lived until he was 13.5 years. He was in pain from arthritis and hip dysplasia. Before the pain kicked in, we walked all over Vancouver, Portland, Camas and Washougal. After he went to doggie heaven, I am now walking all the trails we walked on. We miss him very much. He brought much love and laughter to our home.
