We got Callie as a rescue, saved from a puppy mill in Georgia. She and her siblings had been badly mistreated by the owners. She was still a young puppy when we got her in NJ. Early on she was very skittish around people but followed our first dog Winnie around. Then we had a baby. Once we had a son, she switched her attention to him. From the moment we brought him home, she never left his side. After we moved to Oregon, we took her to the beach and hiking. She traveled around the country with us in our RV. We’ll miss her. Always.
