It has been almost 3 months now since I had my last Bernese Mountain Dog euthanized due to Lymphoma. His housemate, China, was euthanized about 3.5 months before with a huge thymus tumor caused by histiocytic sarcoma. Living without a Bernese Mountain Dog has certainly complicated my grieving process. Rock-it! was a wonderful dog, that I raised from an 11 week old puppy. He loved me. He loved my grandchildren. He was a show dog for my granddaughter & loved to play with all of my grandkids. He was always my protector, standing guard next to me in any situation he thought might not be safe. He was a working dog, earning competition titles in Obedience, Rally, Nosework, and Draft. Nosework and Draft were his favorites. He was a steady, reliable draft partner, both as a single and as a brace team with China. He did well enough to earn a Grand Master Draft Dog title. He gave me everything when he was alive and now I miss him terribly.
