Jens Odegaard is the director of marketing and communications for the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. In this role, he oversees the development and execution of the college's marketing and communications plan and is the college's chief storyteller. As a brand manager for the college, he also ensures visual and messaging consistency across the college in alignment with the university brand.

Before joining CCVM, he was the assistant director of advancement communications for the Oregon State University College of Engineering. He was also the executive producer and a host of the College of Engineering's award-winning podcast "Engineering Out Loud." 

Prior to Oregon State, he was first associate and then managing editor for Brass Media.
