I got Finnegan in 2010 from the Bonnie L. Hayes Shelter where my daughter worked as a CVT. It was love at first sight and we have enjoyed nearly 13 years together. He has been my best friend, main man and traveler for all these years. His favorite place was the beach and the 2 of us would walk the beach for hours go back to our room and rest and then walk the beach some more. He was such a happy fella and never met a cat he liked much to my cats dismay but we made it work. As he got older he hurt his neck so bad that the pain was excruciating and he spent the first year of the pandemic in a small enclosure in my family room and was only able to leave this enclosure to go potty outside. He survived when I did'nt think he would and as my vet said as we were discussing how we were going to treat his issue, "this treatment is a hail Mary if it doesn't work there is nothing else I can do. Thank God for Dr. Fenton because he did survive and was able to visit the beach again. I miss him so much and he is in my thoughts every day. They say time will heal I certainly hope so!! Thank you to Dr. Katy and Crew at Grateful Heart Veterinary Hospital for all your kind wishes.
