Hi, my name is Regina Martinez! I am a second-year vet student from Manassas, VA. I graduated from Cornell University majoring in animal science and went straight to vet school here at OSU. I am interested in practicing with small animals and specializing (still deciding what specialty). I am working on a research project about acupuncture with dogs getting knee surgery, so if you have an interest in research I would love to talk about it! I get involved outside the classroom as the class of 2026 co-president, SAVMA OLEADs Co-Chair, surgery club treasurer, and Student Rep for National Veterinary Associates. I love exploring restaurants and hiking trails in Corvallis, so I have plenty of recommendations. In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts, cooking, crafting, hanging out with my friends, and watching anime. I have a hognose snake as a pet named Tomato (who is the cutest).
